We are pleased to open the registration process for our 2^nd National Annual Conference from February 24^th to 27^th, 2025 in Vancouver, BC.

Admission fees, travel costs, and accommodation allowance are covered for the following:

2024-25 Awardees of the 4 CTTPs
Those receiving special invitations from the 4 CTTPs (e.g., Guests, Keynote Speakers, Co-Chairs, Co-Moderators, Panelists, and Patient Partners*)
For CANTRAIN, transfer funding agreements are in place to cover the costs for Investigators and Collaborators into the grant.
For CAN-TAP-TALENT, transfer funding agreements are in place for any questions please contact jasmine.grant@uhn.ca
For CBITN, the information will be available soon.

*Note to CTTP-INVITED Patient Partners ONLY: Contact the Office of the Conference Secretariat at annualconference2025@wecantrain.ca to have your hotel accommodation and travel arrangements organized and paid by CANTRAIN.

A CAD 500 admission fee for all the other in-person attendees. This fee covers all sessions, materials and hosted meals. Travel costs, accommodation, and off-site meals are not included.

For those who are not invited patient partner, please reserve (by yourself) your own hotel and transportation. The link to book the hotel with our negotiated rate will be sent by email once you’ve completed your registration.

REIMBURSEMENT AMOUNTS :

TRANSPORTATION :

Travel expenses are based on the distance to Vancouver:

By car: For those traveling less than 1000 km, a reimbursement of CAD 0.60/km is available.
Public transportation: For those traveling 1000 km or more, a maximum reimbursement of up to CAD 1,000 is available for airfare, train or bus. Only economy class tickets will be refunded.

NOTE : For Alberta and BC attendees, we encourage you to take public transportation other than the plane (e.g., bus or train economy class) when possible.

HOTEL :

We have negotiated a fixed price of CAD 259.00/ room / night.

We reimburse a maximum of 3 nights in a single or double standard room. No upgrades nor any extra expenses will be reimbursed.
Reimbursement for the hotel is not applicable for local Vancouver residents.

NOTE: Participants have to make their own reservation via the link that will be sent after your registration; no reimbursement will be otherwise enabled.

PER DIEM FOOD :

Meals will be provided during the conference event.

MULTIMEDIA CONSENT :

This event will be live streaming and video-captured so that presentations and workshops will become part of the library of educational LIVE webinar SERIES in the CANTRAIN website. Therefore, by registering, you accept the mandatory MULTIMEDIA CONSENT TERMS for in- person attendees.
